A week or so late, I know, but a Happy New Year to everyone from me and the crew! I hope you all had a fantastic Festive Period.
I have had many a sleepless night with my 4month old over the last few weeks, she’s really struggling to settle back to sleep when she wakes up. So, although I have not had much time to update my blog I have had plenty of time (mainly at 2am, 3am, 4am….) to start thinking about things I’d love to do with the blog going forwards.
As I am still such a newbie, it is a case of trial and error to find what I really love to blog about, but all my twilight planning has given me some fantastic ideas.
I start today with what I hope will become a regular post from me, ‘Happy Mondays’. I really want to have a day a week where I can blog about something positive that has happened either over the weekend, or the week before.
To balance all the positivity, I will follow up on Wednesday with a bit of a moan! Anyone who knows me can tell you that I love a good whinge so another hopefully regular post from me will be ‘My Wednesday Whinge’. It’ll be like blogging for therapy!
And to finish the week off, I am super excited to start doing a foodie blog; ‘Foodie Friday’. This idea came about after talking to my 7yr old about how adventurous he was becoming with food. We agreed that I would cook something new, and possibly exotic (depending on how much sleep the 4month old lets me get!), each week and he promises to help cook and that he will try everything. He and his brother are even going to write their own reviews and give each meal a score. This could be very interesting!
So, all in all, I am excited to start 2016 and continue my blogging journey!
Wish me luck!!
All sounds like a plan. Very interested in Foodie Friday as I need to try a few different recipes on the girls xx. Good luck

Thanks! Think I might need the luck but looking forward to it. X
I’m new to blogging and also trying to get create a bit of a schedule plan for blogging, with Sundays being a review of the week and then Thursday being a post of my choice. I really like your thinking to introduce a foodie post on Friday. I’m also suffering with lack of sleep from my 5 month old, nightmare!! Looking forward to reading more posts from you X x

Thanks for reading. I’m very new too, only a few minths. I’m not sure how the smaller scheduled blogs will do but it seems less pressure than doing ‘feature’ blogs all the time.
Good luck with yours. X
