A family visit to Coral Reef Waterworld with Zoggs UK

Swimming has got to be one of our favourite activities to do together as a family. We have spent many happy hours poolside on holiday, but our busy day to day schedules at home don’t allow us to get to the pool nearly as often as we would like (which would be all day every day if the kids had their way!).

So when we were invited by Zoggs UK and Everyone Active to celebrate the launch of the Zoggs DC Super Heroes range at the amazing Coral Reef Water World, naturally we jumped at the chance!

We have visited Coral Reef before, but not since it had a major facelift so we were all excited to head back and check out how much it had improved.

Zoggs DC Super Heroes Swimwear

We were very kindly gifted some swimwear from Zoggs UK to test out on the day, and I have to say that we absolutely loved them!

Miss T is very much into dressing up at the moment, and having two older brothers means that she absolutely shuns anything girly or princess based and will opt for a superhero every time. So you can imagine how excited she was to play superhero dress up with her bothers for a swimming trip!

The Zoggs DC Super Heroes range covers boys, girls and adults and has collections for major super heroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman and Aquaman. Our three all decided on Batman, and I think they looked awesome!

The boys sun vests will be perfect for summer as they are factor 50 UVA protected. And the batman waterings that Miss T tried out were amazing; it is designed to get kids into a natural swimming position so that they can get used to using their arms and legs properly to move through the water. It made her so confident in the water and I was so impressed with it.

You can find Zoggs swimwear online at www.zoggs.com or in the lobby areas of all Everyone Active sports centres – including Coral Reef Waterworld.

Coral Reef Waterworld

Coral Reef Waterworld was even more awesome than we remembered it, with loads of things to keep all three kids happy, as well as us grown ups too! I was super busy following the kids around, but grabbed a few video shots along the way:

Miss T spent most of her time in the little corals splash area next to the giant pirate ship (yes, there is a giant pirate ship!!) which had warm shallow water, water activity stations and little slides. She absolutely loved going down the slide attached to the pirate ship, which was small enough for her to be able to go down alone but big enough for her to get a bit of an adrenaline rush!

The boys mainly spent their time on the epic water slides, and I couldn’t blame them! There are five slides altogether, but only three were open during our visit; the Aqua Splash, the Storm Chaser, and the Cannon. Our favourite was the Aqua Splash which was interactive and super fun – not only could you chose the colours and music for your ride but there were interactive pads illuminated onto the walls of the slide which you have to hit as you slide past to collect points which are then displayed on a screen at the bottom!

We had a great time bobbing around the Lazy River and then around the slightly faster rapids. The boys loved swimming through the jets of water erupting from the volcano and then heading up on deck of the pirate ship and firing the water cannons out into the pool.

I was surprised to discover that there is also a spa area at Coral Reef too. Unfortunately, being outnumbered by the kids meant that we didn’t get to check it out, but I have it on good authority that it is really lovely! Next time maybe.

If you’re looking for a fab waterpark with something for the whole family, then I can definitely recommend Coral Reef – what a thoroughly awesome visit we all had! I’m so glad we made it back there, and I am sure we will be back very soon too.

Disclaimer: We were invited along to Coral Reef Waterworld, and were gifted some Zoggs swimwear in exchange for our review of both. As always all views are my own – we genuinely loved it all!

These are perfect for little super heroes who need to learn to fly in the water. My boys would love the Batman ones, and like yours, they would be in the water every day if they could!
