Hello again, and welcome to this weeks Monday Escapes. Wow, the time is really flying isn’t it, I can’t believe we’re nearly into November!
What have I been up to?
We’ve just finished a week of half term, and have had a lovely time. We started the week in beautiful North Wales, where we have a family cottage, and finished with a few local day trips, including heading into London for the day.
I absolutely loved our walk at Porthdinllaen, which is a tiny village right on the beachon the Llyn Peninsula.
The kids loved discovering this fantastic, and massive, sword next to the lake at Llanberis, Snowdonia.
And me and my biggest boy had a lovely day of mother and son time in London, where we took a tour at the Globe Theatre to help with his topic work at school.

We had some wonderful posts linked up again last time, it is always so hard to pick!
I have to say that I loved reading this post from Truly Madly Kids about visiting the Ancient Theatre in Taormina, Sicily, with kids as this is actually something that I have done myself with my kids. It is such a beautiful monument to visit, with breathtaking views of Mount Etna as the backdrop. My only wish is that I can return one day to watch a show at this magnificent site.
Katy absolutely loved this post from Lou from We Travel in Three with a 10 Day Family Friendly New Zealand Road Trip Itinerary – South Island. Katy says “Just lately I have been dreaming of a New Zealand road trip in a camper van and it looked and sounded amazing. I could just sit with a hot chocolate and drink in the views on the banks of Lake Takapo or Lake Wakatipu.”
