January sees the two year anniversary of when we first brought Buddy home from the Dogs Trust. During that time he has been on many of our family travel adventures, but has also had to sit a few out, staying with family and friends.
He has proved to not only be a great traveller, but also a fab house guest for those looking after him. So what better way to reward him than giving him a whole box of goodies just for him?! Cue the Pawsome Box, a subscription box just for dogs.
When I was offered the chance to review the Pawsome Box, I thought it would be a fab way to treat Buddy. It promised a selection of five to six specially selected pet products including treats, toys and hygiene items. I was excited to see what he would receive.
And when the box arrived, Buddy was super curious to see what was inside too!
He was treated to not one, but two festive toys, two packs of treats, some doggy shampoo and some festive poo bags (which came at the perfect time seeing as we were down to our last few bags!).
I thought Buddy would be more interested in the treats but he went straight for the squeaky toy and ran to the back door. He had a great time doing laps of the garden squeaking away. He then came back for the second toy and headed back out with that too!
In his normal fashion, Buddy destroyed the toys pretty quickly. But he certainly had fun in doing so! I am still searching for a toy that is fun for him, but can survive his rough play.
Buddy is massively food orientated and we always need to stock up on treats when we are travelling with him or on days out, so it was great to receive two pack of treats in the box. I’m really interested to see how he gets on with the Iams beef and apple snacks which are gluten free. Buddy has a very sensitive stomach so these sound perfect for him.
Although the doggy shampoo is probably not high up on Buddy’s wish list, I have to admit that I was pleased to get it. I’ve been meaning to get some for ages, so this saved me a trip to the pet shop!
All in all this was a great selection of goodies for Buddy and I’m sure he, and any other pooch for that matter, would be delighted to receive a box packed full of treats every month.
Boxes cost £19.90 per month (cheaper if you sign up for a longer subscription) and promise to contain over £40 worth of goods, which is a fab deal. And even better, Pawsome have given me a discount code to pass on to my readers, so if you fancy treating your pooch, use this code for a £5 discount off of any subscription: ukb10oii
