So, it’s official, my boys are growing up. Too fast I sometimes think! Thomas, Fireman Sam and Octonauts are out and they now seem to have moved on to Marvel Comics, sports and general ‘big boy’ trends.
Although they are both very close, get along well and share a room, they also have very different interests and styles. I have been searching lately for ways of letting them each have spaces of their very own in their shared room and have decided that bedding is a perfect way of doing this. Yorkshire Linen have a fantastic range of single duvet sets which would really help create those unique spaces for them.
My little superhero would totally love this Marvel Comics duvet cover, he is desperate to have more grown up bedding so this would really tick the box:
When his super hero mad friends visit for playdates, I am sure he would love to show this off!
He is also a big fan of anything dinosaur related and the image on this T-Rex bedding set is super realistic, ideal for big boys, he would be so pleased with it:
For my 8 year old (going on 13 sometimes!) I feel like he has outgrown some of the younger bedding sets and having something a bit cool would really appeal to him. These sets are great for adding a bit of character without being too plain:
These sets all come in a single size and really would give him that grown up feel, despite sharing a room with his younger brother.
As their interests and trends change and develop over time, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for some new cool bedding for them. I love this Star Wars bedding from John Lewis and I’m pretty sure that the boys will be asking for something like this soon!
So, as well as posters on the walls, their favourite books stacked next to their pillows, and their best toys perched on their shelves, I really do feel that having bedding to reflect their styles and interests would really help to create their own little individual spaces in their room.
